The past two years have been some of the hardest of my life. I spent many years working in manufacturing, doing whatever it took to stay stable — from painting to groundskeeping and everything in between. I’ve always believed in working hard and figuring things out, even when things weren’t easy.
During a slow season at one of my jobs, I found myself with extra time and a lot on my mind. One day, while helping a friend move, I came across a box of old handmade dolls from their childhood. Something about them felt different from the mass-produced things I was used to seeing every day at work. They had personality. They felt human.
That moment stuck with me.
I started researching how plush toys were made — the fabrics, stitching, stuffing, patterns. At first, it was just curiosity. Then I bought a small sewing kit. My first few attempts were rough. Uneven stitching, crooked shapes — nothing perfect. But there was something about creating something soft and comforting with my own hands that felt meaningful.
After years of working with heavy equipment, loud machines, and industrial environments, making something gentle felt like a reset.
What started as a way to clear my head slowly became something more. I began designing simple characters — small stuffed companions meant to bring comfort, nostalgia, and warmth into someone’s home.
This shop is more than just products. It’s a new chapter. It represents rebuilding, learning something new, and turning a difficult season into something creative and positive.
If you’re here supporting my small business, just know it truly means a lot.
